Natural Treatments for Hair Loss

Natural hair care treatments are the best to combat hair loss as they cause no damage and can be used in the long run for better results. Plant products have antioxidants that fight against damage and promote hair growth. You can repeat the treatment as many times as you want for good hair and to reduce hair loss. The natural ingredients in these products do not leave any traces of chemicals or cause any side effects to the hair or scalp. Synthetic products may work faster initially, but they cause permanent damage to the hair. You do not have to worry about damaging your hair while using natural products. However, the treatment needs to be followed regularly for the best results. Natural products are mild and work gently on your hair follicles.

Licorice root
This root provides a good treatment for dry and irritated scalp. It opens up pores and strengthens hair follicles. When the hair follicles become weak, hair fall takes place. Using licorice root treatment once a week stalls hair loss. It can be applied as a paste on the scalp for a few hours before washing. Licorice is also had as a drink. Results can be seen instantly.

Rosemary oil
An essential oil, it has antibacterial and antioxidant properties which help in hair growth. It helps to treat flaky skin and infections as well and acts as a stimulant when applied directly.

Coconut milk
Coconut is used in oils, shampoos, and conditioners due to its moisturizing and soothing effect. Coconut milk is used in hair treatments as it repairs the damaged scalp and protects it from dryness. To reduce hair loss and encourage hair growth, regular use of coconut milk is advised. Massage it on your scalp and leave it for fifteen minutes before washing it off.

Onion juice
Onion juice has been known to support hair growth and has been used as a natural hair loss treatment. Applying onion juice to the scalp twice a week helps blood circulation and collagen growth. The sulfur content in onions has antibacterial properties that fight infections. Apply onion juice on the scalp and leave it for about fifteen minutes before washing it off with shampoo.

Egg
Egg is a highly recommended treatment for hair loss because of its protein content. Keratin, a huge portion of the hair, is a protein. An egg mask may not be very appealing but it helps to reverse damage and contain hair loss. It also strengthens and moisturizes hair. Egg can be mixed with oil and applied to hair. After leaving for about ten minutes, it can be washed off.

Aloe vera
Aloe vera is a great treatment for hair. Like coconut oil, it is a part of many hair and skincare products, as it has a calming and soothing effect. It treats the damaged scalp. It opens up the pores and clogged follicles that stop hair from growing. Massaging aloe vera in the scalp regularly helps to prevent hair loss.
